The Basics
The Academy of Surgeons and the departement of surgery at Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and University Hospital Salzburg, Austria, will present the first INTERNATIONAL STAR Course at the PMU Salzburg in october 2022.
This hands-on course offers the possibilty to work on cadavers under guidance of renowned experts. Focused on practical experience and skills training in small groups of max. 3 participants per cadaver you will be able to gain maximum of capability and experience.
The event is submitted as part of the training programme of the Austrian Academy of Physicians (15 DFP points).

The course fees include Participation in the event, the lectures, the operation course, as well as the lunch breaks. We also provide catering by means of drinks between the lectures and during the breaks. After the course ends around 17:00, no dinner together is planned and unfortunately we can also not offer a hotel / accommodation as our venue will be the university.
