The Academy of Surgeons cooperates with the departments of surgery of Cantonal Hospital, St. Gallen | Switzerland and University Hospital Salzburg | Austria. Together we will present you the second International STAR ( Surgical Training Anatomic Refresher ) Course at the PMU Salzburg in September 2023.
This hands-on course offers the possibilty to work on cadavers under guidance of renowned experts. Focused on practical experience and skill training in small groups of max. three participants per cadaver you will be able to gain maximum of capability and experience.
The event is submitted as part of the training programme of the Austrian Academy of Physicians.
The course fees include Participation in the event, the lectures, the operation course, as well as the lunch breaks. We also provide catering by means of drinks between the lectures and during the breaks. After the course ends around 17:00, no dinner together is planned and unfortunately we can also not offer a hotel / accommodation as our venue will be the university.
